Are you Libertarian?

Nolan Chart of the Political Spectrum

Ever wondered where you stand on the "liberal - conservative" continuum?

Aren't sure if either label fits you accurately?

Ever figured you must be "middle of the road" since you seem to be both a little liberal and a little conservative?

You are not alone.

In 1971, David Nolan created what we know today as The Nolan Chart. It seeks to measure political ideology in two dimensions rather than just one. The Nolan Chart more accurately represents the nuances of political ideology, and helps to visualize why it seems that while liberals and conservatives both claim to be opposites of each other, their policies take us in lock step toward the same end - tyranny. (the Nolan Chart also shows why Communists and Fascists are opposed to each other, yet are so very similar in their approach and results)

There are only 10 questions, and in a few minutes, you'll see where you fit in the true political spectrum.

Remember, don't over-think the questions. Put your first answer down to get the most accurate results. (the questions are not "loaded" or "tricky." They are intentionally designed NOT to be ambiguous. If you view them as ambiguous you are trying to out-think the question.)

If you don't think the result truly reflects your views, look over the questions again and reflect on why you answered the way you did. This is an exercise in self reflection just as it is a snapshot of where you stand today.
